CNA | Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join Charter Senior Living of Hazel Crest. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in providing support and assistance to our residents in the Assisted Living and/or Memory Care Program(s). Your responsibilities will include helping residents with activities of daily living, implementing care plans, and ensuring that residents live a quality life with dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and other daily activities.
• Provide emotional and social support to residents.
• Document daily assistance provided following protocols.
• Report any resident issues or concerns to the supervisor.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for residents, visitors, and co-workers.
• Adhere to all Charter Senior Living policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA, STNA, GNA, CHHA or equivalent caregiver certification.
• CPR/First Aid Certification may be required.
• Experience with the elderly preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team.
• High tolerance for working under pressure with empathy and professionalism.
