Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) in Wichita, Kansas, is looking for a detail-oriented Construction Inspector to join their team. As a Construction Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulations and specifications throughout the civil construction process.

Responsibilities

• Inspect various types of construction projects to ensure compliance with regulations and contract specifications.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, attend meetings, and resolve issues as necessary.
• Prepare inspection reports, monitor contractor activities, conduct testing, and maintain documentation.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders and organizations.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of construction inspection experience preferred.
• Knowledge of construction methods, safety regulations, and inspection procedures.
• Strong communication, organizational, and technical skills.
• Ability to work in various environments and travel for projects.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree required.
