Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cook to join our team at the Holiday Inn and Suites Gateway. In this role, you will collaborate with the Chef in preparing and cooking meals, ensuring quality and consistency. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, as well as overseeing kitchen operations in the absence of the Chef.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Chef with food preparation and maintaining quality standards.
• Ensure kitchen cleanliness and adherence to safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Manager to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Participate in inventory management and end-of-month procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; hotel operations experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in using computer software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment.
