Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a key role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the cleanliness of the store to provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your collaboration with the ALDI team and dedication to exceptional customer service will be crucial in ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and effectively communicate with store management
- Participate in inventory counts and monitor accuracy
- Adhere to cash policies and procedures
- Comply with company policies and maintain security and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient cash register operation and equipment handling skills
- General cleaning abilities and adherence to company standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Meet local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
