Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks such as merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's cleanliness to ensure a pleasant shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management
- Participate in store inventory counts and adhere to cash policies to minimize losses
- Comply with company policies and procedures while ensuring data security and confidentiality
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment
- Proficiency in general cleaning duties and adherence to company standards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior retail experience is a plus
