Job Description
We are looking for a Full-Time Store Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining a clean store environment to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. By collaborating with the Aldi team, you will play a key role in providing outstanding customer service and contributing to the overall success of the store.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills.
- Process customer purchases, maintain clean store surroundings, and organize merchandise displays.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers and communicating effectively within the team.
- Provide feedback to management on products, inventory, and operational issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy.
- Adhere to cash policies and company procedures while maintaining security and confidentiality.
Physical Demands
- Stocking merchandise, lifting up to 45 pounds, and conducting various physical activities within the store.
- Required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Proficient in providing courteous customer service and operating a cash register.
- Able to handle equipment and maintain cleanliness according to standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multitasking efficiently.
- Fulfill state and local requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous retail experience is a plus.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
