Job Description
We are looking for a Nursing Graduate to join LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. This full-time position in the emergency room at Grace Medical Center requires a weekend commitment with day and night shifts. The staff nurse role involves providing nursing care to patients, ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational protocols. The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing school, possess current RN licensure, and have at least 2 years of nursing experience in emergency services or 3-5 years in acute care. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required, with ACLS, PALS, and Hazmat certifications needed within specified timeframes. Certification in Emergency Nursing is preferred. The role includes care provision based on patient needs, collaboration with healthcare teams, and maintaining a safe patient environment. The unit details the state-of-the-art design of the new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center, emphasizing personalized care, negative pressure rooms, and advanced diagnostic equipment.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure with Maryland Board of Nursing or Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years Nursing Experience in Emergency Services or 3-5 years in acute care.
- BLS, ACLS (within 6 months), PALS and Hazmat (within one year) certifications.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing preferred.
- Completion of orientation per policy/procedures.

The new Emergency Department at Grace Medical Center offers a modern space with advanced technology and amenities to enhance emergency care. With private treatment rooms, a provider station for collaborative care, and specialized features like negative pressure rooms and a behavioral health treatment pod, the facility is designed to provide individualized care to patients. The department also houses a CT Scanner for early diagnosis and treatment planning.
