R&D Engineer

Job Description

Eckert & Ziegler Isotope Products is seeking an R&D Engineer to join our team in Valencia, CA. This intermediate-level position involves new product development, engineering support activities, and technical assistance for existing product lines. The ideal candidate will have a scientific degree and experience in nuclear science, with proficiency in SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products and processes.
• Create 3D models using SolidWorks for design evaluation.
• Support sales through customer interactions and technical assistance.
• Maintain design files and ensure regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• MS degree in scientific field; nuclear-related fields preferred.
• 2-5 years' experience or PhD in scientific field.
• Ability to manage long-term projects independently.
• Strong critical thinking and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications; SolidWorks experience a plus.
