Job Description
We are looking to hire a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) on a PRN basis at Denver Health. As an essential part of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to newborns, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team, and promoting excellence in patient safety and outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assess and address the health and safety needs of newborns and families.
- Maintain accurate records and reports of patient progress.
- Monitor and report changes in patient conditions.
- Develop and modify patient care plans based on assessments.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for comprehensive patient care.
- Administer medications, treatments, and provide patient education.
- Promote a positive patient experience through compassionate care.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
- Active BLS and RN licenses from relevant authorities.
- Strong adherence to professional nursing standards and practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in medical equipment use and patient care.
- Ability to maintain composure in emergency situations.
- Experience with EPIC documentation preferred.
