Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated RN Poison Information Specialist (Uncertified) to join Denver Health's team. As an RN Poison Information Specialist, you will provide phone consultation and education to individuals and healthcare professionals regarding exposures to various substances. This role involves assessing poisoning incidents, providing recommendations, documenting cases, and offering information to the public.
Responsibilities
- Assess poisoning incidents by gathering relevant information.
- Provide first aid and treatment recommendations to callers.
- Document cases accurately and maintain quality standards.
- Offer information to the public and complete required surveys.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- Less than 1 year of experience in a medical call center or similar setting.
- Registered Nurse license from the Department of Regulatory Agencies.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer use and data entry.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

$31.34 - $47.01 per hour
