We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Youth Counselor to join our team at Mount Prospect Academy. As a Residential Youth Counselor, you will play a crucial role in supporting at-risk youth and providing them with the care and guidance they need to thrive in a residential setting. Your responsibilities will include mentoring students, implementing social activities, providing psychosocial education, and creating a nurturing environment for our residents. Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor students, including crisis management.
• Implement social activities and involve residents in programming.
• Provide direct services such as daily living skills and meal preparation.
• Refine students' social and interpersonal skills through positive relationships.
• Facilitate the residential routine with thoughtful planning.
• Document service delivery and incidents professionally.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree OR relevant experience working with children.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Background and pre-employment checks required.
