Job Description
We are currently seeking Full-Time Warehouse Associates to join the team at Aldi. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating effectively with team members and leadership. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety guidelines, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Shifts Available
We have multiple schedules available, including Schedule B which involves working both Saturday and Sunday two out of every three weeks.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load merchandise for shipment, and unload incoming shipments.
- Maintain warehouse appearance and safety standards.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
- Interact effectively with peers, suppliers, and leadership.
- Provide input to improve processes.
- Inspect product for quality and safety.
- Follow warehouse policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic arithmetic skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting up to 45 pounds regularly.
- Moving merchandise, sitting, standing, bending, reaching, etc.
- Operating powered industrial equipment.
