Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our fast-growing team at Aldi. As a vital part of our warehouse operations, you will play a key role in ensuring that products are efficiently received, selected, and delivered to our stores. Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate and organize merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and prepare merchandise for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving goals.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic guidelines.
• Perform tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure warehouse productivity and speed.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to work conscientiously, collaborate with the team, maintain a positive attitude, drive for success, and organize tasks efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a team.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Move merchandise, sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, grip, lift, carry, and walk throughout the warehouse.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
