1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are hiring a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a valued team member, you will be responsible for various warehouse duties such as receiving, organizing, and relocating merchandise, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and assisting in inventory counts. Your role will also involve collaborating with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock for order fulfillment.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise for shipment preparation.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and report any issues to management.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older to be employed at Aldi.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Move merchandise within the warehouse and prepare for deliveries.
• Work in varying temperatures and operate powered industrial equipment safely.
