1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

Aldi is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our warehouse operations team. Our employees work fewer than 30 hours per week in ambient and temperature-controlled areas, receiving comprehensive training and safety protocols. As a Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting and organizing incoming stock, preparing merchandise for shipment, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with team members to improve processes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect product quality and assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and report concerns.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies, communicate effectively, and work in a team environment.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move products up to 45 pounds, operate equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
