1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join the team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will work an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour based on shift differentials. The 1st Shift starts at 7:00 AM, and various scheduling options are available.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise as per warehouse guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvements and assist in achieving warehouse goals.
• Inspect product quality and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Operate equipment safely and notify management of any issues.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, collaboration, positivity, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding environments.
