Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and efficient 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in receiving, handling, and preparing merchandise for shipment according to warehouse guidelines. Working in a collaborative environment, you will contribute to maintaining the warehouse's appearance standards, safety requirements, and overall efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse as per handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality and safety compliance.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, drive for success, and organizational efficiency.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding environments.
