Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join Aldi's team on a full-time basis. This role offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage ranging from $20.75 to $26.75 per hour based on shift differentials. As a Warehouse Stocker, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise in accordance with handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
- Communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Provide input for process improvements.
- Inspect product quality and safety.
- Perform assigned tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Operate equipment safely and follow ergonomic practices.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic arithmetic proficiency.
- Detail-oriented and capable of following instructions.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lifting and moving products up to 45 pounds.
- Frequent movement of merchandise.
- Standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and walking in warehouse environments.
- Operation of powered industrial equipment.
