1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join our team at Aldi. Our warehouse operations are crucial in ensuring that products are received, selected, and delivered efficiently to our stores for our growing customer base. As a part-time position, you will work fewer than 30 hours per week in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise as per handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties and maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement and inspect product quality.
• Complete all assigned tasks accurately and within company procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate, adapt, and drive success.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic and organizational skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift products up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered industrial equipment.
• Work in varying temperatures and perform physically demanding tasks.
