1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our fast-paced team at Aldi. As a crucial part of our operations, you will be responsible for efficiently managing stock, preparing orders for shipment, ensuring warehouse cleanliness, and collaborating with team members to achieve warehouse goals.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise strategically for shipment and unload incoming shipments.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and provide input for process improvement.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation issues.
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and warehouse leadership.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientious behavior, teamwork, resilience, drive for success, and efficiency.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Moving merchandise throughout the warehouse.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
