1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our team at Aldi. As a valuable member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for efficiently handling stock, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the warehouse's overall appearance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders effectively.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment, as well as unload incoming shipments.
• Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain communication with peers and leadership.
• Provide input for process improvement to warehouse management.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation concerns.
• Operate equipment safely according to guidelines.
• Perform all tasks accurately and efficiently within company policies.
• Adhere to ergonomic and safety procedures.

Job Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Demonstrates quality, safety, and collaboration in work.
• Positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Efficient organization and execution.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Prepare products for delivery.
• Engage in various physical activities within the warehouse environment.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment safely.
