Job Description
We are looking for a 2nd Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.00 per hour. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will be responsible for efficiently fulfilling orders from stores, relocating merchandise, loading and unloading shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock accurately and efficiently.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance and safety.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts.
- Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
- Inspect product quality, safety, and sanitation.
- Operate equipment safely and report issues.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- Demonstrates conscientiousness, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Move merchandise throughout the warehouse.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
