2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join our dynamic team at Aldi. As part of the warehouse operations, you will play a vital role in stocking, organizing, and preparing merchandise for shipment, ensuring the efficient flow of goods throughout the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock efficiently to fill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
• Load and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and management.
• Provide input on process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Work independently within delegated responsibilities to achieve warehouse goals.
• Operate equipment safely and according to guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Demonstrates conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
• Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Basic arithmetic skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 45 pounds, move merchandise, and operate powered equipment.
• Stand, bend, reach, push, pull, and walk in varying temperatures.
