Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Member to join the ALDI family. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in efficiently organizing and handling merchandise within the warehouse, ensuring timely order fulfillment and delivery to stores. Your commitment to maintaining warehouse standards and working collaboratively with peers and leadership will contribute to our success.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines within the warehouse.
- Load and unload merchandise for shipment, following strategic sorting and organization methods.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Cooperate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership to enhance communication and processes.
- Report product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues to management.
- Work independently within delegated responsibilities and assist in achieving warehouse goals.
Job Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Demonstrate conscientious behavior, collaboration, positive attitude, resilience, and drive for success.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Strong communication, basic math, and organizational skills.
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Lift and place products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
- Work in varying temperatures and physically demanding environments.
