3rd Shift Engineering Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 3rd Shift Engineering Technician to join our team at Michigan Milk Producers Association. As part of Superior Dairy, you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting and repairing production and process equipment during the night shift. The successful candidate will need to work independently and communicate effectively across departments.

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot machines using PLC code, primarily Rockwell / Allen Bradley.
• Interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for equipment repairs.
• Understand operators' and supervisors' requirements to enhance system functionality.
• Support maintenance supervisor in leading the team when necessary.
• Assist engineering with project work on the night shift.
• Communicate outstanding maintenance issues to the day shift team.

Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
• 2-5 years of PLC experience preferred.
