Bishop Gadsden, a leading life care retirement community in Charleston, is seeking a part-time Sales Coordinator for Eliza's Attic Thrift Boutique. This role involves assisting the Manager in store operations, maintaining social media presence, handling sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Oversee store operations in collaboration with the Attic Manager.
  • Manage opening and closing procedures, including cash register reconciliation.
  • Coordinate marketing activities on social media to expand customer base.
  • Help with pricing, item display, and store organization.
  • Arrange donation pickups and maintain effective communication with the manager.
  • Ensure safe handling of goods and use of Bishop Gadsden vehicles for transportation.
  • Support sales efforts and report updates to management.
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold resident rights and confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems, willingness to learn new software.
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work with diverse groups.
  • Prior retail experience and knowledge of antiques are advantageous.
  • Ability to understand numbers, written materials, and interact courteously.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform various tasks.
