ArcBest II ABF Freight, one of the largest and most trusted LTL carriers in the country, is looking to hire Operations Supervisors across different locations.

As an Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, supervising, and controlling resources to ensure timely, damage-free, and safe loading/unloading of freight. You will play a key role in maintaining load plans, assigning tasks, providing training, and fostering a safe working environment. Additionally, you will collaborate with a team to achieve department goals while upholding the company's values-driven culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control available resources for loading/unloading operations.
• Maintain proper load plans and ensure safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, provide training, and monitor performance.
• Ensure a clean, safe working environment and proper handling of hazardous materials.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve goals and uphold company culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in transportation or related field, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General knowledge of freight handling techniques.
