Job Description

We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Operations Supervisor at ABF Freight, an ArcBest company. As an Operations Supervisor, you will play a key role in planning, supervising, and controlling resources for the timely and safe loading/unloading of freight, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control the loading/unloading of freight on assigned shifts.
• Ensure proper load balance for safe vehicle operation.
• Assign job tasks, provide training, and monitor performances.
• Maintain a clean, safe working environment and handle hazardous materials following safety protocols.
• Work collaboratively in a team setting to achieve department goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Prior service center or transportation experience is a plus.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of proper freight handling techniques.
