Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Account Manager at Hirose Electric USA plays a pivotal role in managing sales activities within a designated business segment to drive sales growth and execute strategic corporate directives effectively. The position involves building and nurturing relationships with key accounts, implementing sales strategies, delivering customized product presentations, and overseeing the development of potential product lines. Additionally, the Account Manager is responsible for maximizing revenue and profitability, managing the sales pipeline, and cultivating executive-level customer relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and establish relationships with targeted accounts.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies for key accounts.
  • Create and deliver customized product presentations.
  • Manage all aspects of accounts and position company as a key supplier.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans to drive revenue and profitability.
  • Oversee product development activities with key accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in Business or Technical field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the electronic component industry.
  • Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Physical Demands

The Account Manager must be able to travel, negotiate territory, and attend customer sites and events. Regular activities include talking, listening, sitting, standing, walking, using hands, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds.

Compensation

Yearly Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000
