Accounting Manager
Location: Erickson Senior Living, Catonsville, Maryland
Job Description
The Accounting Manager at Erickson Senior Living works closely with assistant controllers to oversee the monthly financial close process. This involves ensuring accurate financial reporting to support communities and timely reconciliation of balance sheet items.

Compensation: Commensurate with experience starting at $90,000 per year
How you will make an impact
- Monitor the timely reconciliation of balance sheet items and clearance of review notes of staff accountants.
- Coordinate reporting requirements for state unclaimed property statutes with outside vendors.
- Oversee year-end financial audits and provide analysis and support for internal financial statements.
- Review schedules prepared for tax filings and engage in technical accounting research.
- Take full responsibility for financial statements and work-paper review at multiple communities.
What you will need
- 4-year college degree in Accounting/Finance required, CPA/MBA a plus.
- 6+ years in related industry with at least 2+ years in a managerial role.
- Financial accounting experience required, experience in healthcare or non-profit field preferred.
