Job Description
We are looking for an Application Engineer to join Discover Financial Services, a leading digital banking and payments company. Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and features with high quality.
- Provide guidance to Associate Application Engineers.
- Oversee design decisions and drive key results for assigned products.
- Remediate issues and proactively create design solutions for potential failures.
- Actively manage and escalate risks and customer-impacting issues.
- Contribute to and lead technology communities within the company.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Information Technology or Software Engineering.
- Technical proficiency in engineering.
Bonus Points If You Have
- Java, Spring Boot, React.
- Experience with UI Technology, TDD, BDD.
- Proficiency in Selenium/Cucumber for test automation.
- Knowledge of Cloud and containerization.
- Strong team player.

Compensation: Base pay generally ranges from $86,500.00 to $146,100.00, with additional incentives based on various factors.
