Area Catering Sales Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a talented and experienced Area Catering Sales Manager to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Oceanfront. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for soliciting, negotiating, and booking new business to drive event revenues for our properties. Your role will involve developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, conducting site inspections, and maximizing room revenue to exceed sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat business to maximize room revenue.
• Develop and enhance relationships with key accounts and community organizations.
• Maintain an active sales solicitation program and follow up on leads promptly.
• Utilize automated sales systems and comply with company standards and regulations.
• Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly/yearly revenue goals and operate within the sales expense budget.

Education and Experience

• Multi-Property Experience Preferred.
• Hilton experience recommended.
• Previous Hotel Sales Experience Required.
• High school diploma or GED certification required.
• Bachelor’s Degree and/or extensive experience in a hotel or related field required.
