We are seeking a dynamic Area Sales Manager to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Oceanfront. Our company, Shamin Hotels, is a well-established player in the hospitality industry, operating under renowned brands such as Hilton, Marriott, Intercontinental, Hyatt, and Choice. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be instrumental in driving sales and revenue growth for our Hilton Garden Inn and Hilton Oceanfront properties.

Job Summary

The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for soliciting accounts in assigned market segments, prospecting, and closing deals to boost room and event revenues for the hotels. This role involves selling guestrooms, meeting space, and F&B services, establishing new accounts, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Solicit, negotiate, and secure new business through various sales efforts.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key accounts and industry partners.
• Maintain an active sales solicitation program and achieve revenue goals.
• Stay informed about hotel operations and monitor market trends.
• Utilize sales systems effectively and adhere to company standards.

Education & Experience

• Preferred multi-property experience with Hilton and Marriott background.
• Prior hotel sales experience is a must.
• Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
