ASSISTANT NURSE MANAGER- Emergency Department- Northwest Hospital

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Nurse Manager to join our team at Northwest Hospital's Emergency Department. As the Assistant Nurse Manager, you will have 24-hour accountability for coordinating resources to ensure quality service to all patients while reflecting the hospital's mission and vision. The Emergency Department at Northwest Hospital serves over 60,000 patients annually, offering care for major and minor illnesses, including cardiac, stroke, behavioral health, orthopedic injuries, and minor trauma. We are seeking a motivated individual with strong organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status and implement nursing interventions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resources for quality patient care.
• Reflect the hospital's mission, vision, and philosophy in daily operations.
• Assess patient status and implement nursing interventions.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Bachelor's in Nursing, National Certification preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Maryland Registered Nurse License.
• American Heart Association CPR Certification and BLS Certification.
