Associate Field Application Engineer - College Grad Program (Boston)
Join our team at Hirose Electric USA as an Associate Field Application Engineer based in the Greater Boston/S. NH area. You will play a vital role in providing technical support, preparing and delivering product presentations, and collaborating with our sales and engineering teams to enhance customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary advanced technical resource for the Sales team and customers.
- Communicate directly with customers to address application inquiries, performance specifications, and new product development requests.
- Expand technical presence within key customer accounts to drive sales.
- Analyze customer technology trends and competitor products to provide valuable insights.
- Support technology and product demonstrations as needed by the sales team.
- Build relationships with cable and harness manufacturers and contribute to sales promotion activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 1 year of experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with CRM tools.
- Positive attitude, proactive mentality, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work with cross-cultural teams and willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
Work Environment
When not on business trips, normal business hours are to be maintained at the Hirose USA office in Andover, MA.
