Job Description

We are currently looking for a dedicated Behavioral Health Nurse 2 (RN) to join our team at Marion County. In this role, you will be providing direct nursing care to adults diagnosed with serious mental illnesses, including individuals with co-occurring substance use disorders. Your responsibilities will involve completing nursing assessments, administering injections, providing support to our psychiatric team, and coordinating care and medications for our patients. Additionally, you will be overseeing Behavioral Health Nurses 1 and assigning daily duties to other staff members under the guidance of the Nurse Program Manager.

The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with flexibility based on program requirements. Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care, including assessments, injections, and emotional support.
  • Coordinate care and medications for individuals in service.
  • Oversee Behavioral Health Nurses 1 and assign daily duties to staff.
  • Work closely with the Nurse Program Manager to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in nursing with four years of behavioral health nursing experience OR Bachelor's degree in a related field with two years of behavioral health nursing experience.
  • Current license to practice as a registered professional nurse in Oregon.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history.
