Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Breakfast Cook to join our Food & Beverage team at Holiday Inn Charlottesville VA. As a Breakfast Cook, you will play a vital role in food preparation and maintaining high standards of hygiene, service, and efficiency in our kitchen. This is a full-time position reporting to the Kitchen Manager, offering an opportunity to be part of a passionate team committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Prepare and serve food items according to hotel recipes and standards.
• Assist in kitchen cleaning, equipment maintenance, and inventory control.
• Stock inventory, ensure timely food service, and comply with safety regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years' experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.
• Knowledge of Safe Serving practices and Virginia laws.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a team, handle high-pressure situations, and provide excellent guest service.

Physical & Mental Requirements

• Ability to stand or walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in hot or cold environments.
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and composure under pressure.
