Job Description
Transdev is currently seeking Bus Operators to provide safe and reliable transportation within a gated senior community. As a Bus Operator, you will have the opportunity to serve people, drive responsibly, and ensure the well-being of senior residents. This stress-free position offers a starting wage of $17.00 per hour and various benefits, including medical & dental insurance, 401(k) savings plan, paid holidays, and vacation.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport senior residents within the community with courtesy and responsibility.
- Perform pre/post trip vehicle inspections and assist passengers with boarding and securing mobility aids.
- Operate transit buses in a reliable manner according to designated schedules.
- Communicate effectively with passengers and handle any incidents professionally.
Requirements
- Must hold a CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement.
- Be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to work assigned shift hours.
