Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Capture Manager to join our team at Middle River Aerostructure Systems. As a Capture Manager, you will be responsible for leading capture-related activities in the aerospace and defense sectors. Your duties will include strategic campaign identification, leading business development activities, developing capture strategies, and ensuring the success of specific capture and proposal activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and report to the Director of Business Development.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic capture campaign identification and execution.
- Develop capture strategies and business solutions for pursuing opportunities.
- Coordinate capture and proposal activities across functional teams.
- Act as the primary customer contact for proposal activities.
- Lead a cross-functional team through the capture process to agreed commitments.
- Identify and manage project risks and opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or Business Management with 5 years of Business Development or Capture Management experience.
- Knowledge of Commercial and USG contracts and acquisition processes.
- Ability to travel (travel < 40%) and obtain USG Security Clearance.
Desired Characteristics
- Master’s degree in STEM or Business Administration/Management.
- Exceptional critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
- Domain expertise in Aerostructures and/or Airframes and Space Systems.
- Experience with DoD customers and aerospace industry network.
