Case Manager - Drug and Alcohol Treatment Courts - Jefferson County

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Case Manager to join our team at Wisconsin Community Services. In this role, you will be responsible for providing case management with intensive support and supervision to third and greater OWI offenders participating in the Jefferson County Alcohol Treatment Court. You will also manage case management for Jefferson Drug Treatment Court Participants.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training new staff and ensuring proper reporting to the APD.
• Manage daily program operations, including participant supervision and monitoring.
• Administer assessments, make referrals, and maintain communication with treatment providers.
• Attend court hearings, assist in determining phase levels, and maintain accurate participant documentation.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Understanding of the Criminal Justice System, local treatment programs, and community resources. Strong communication skills, crisis management ability, and cultural sensitivity.

Minimal Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field with case management experience preferred. Substance abuse counseling credential desirable.

Work Environment

Directly reports to the Program Director and collaborates with various stakeholders. Interacts with offenders, court officials, law enforcement, and other service providers.
