Job Description
We are looking for a part-time Cashier to join the team at McDowell Store (Power & McDowell) in Mesa, Arizona. As a Cashier, you will play a crucial role in providing an excellent customer experience and promoting sales for Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona (GCNA) and its affiliated entities. Your responsibilities will include operating registers, maintaining sales floor standards, and engaging with customers effectively.
Starting Pay: $14.50 per Hour
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform Point of Sale (POS) duties and process various forms of payments.
- Solicit cash donations from customers at the point of sale.
- Price merchandise accurately and assist customers with pricing queries.
- Complete closing procedures as required.
- Ensure a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for customers.
- Adhere to Goodwill's Core Values: Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong math abilities preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Ability to pass background and drug screenings as required.
