Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Charge Nurse with solid experience and leadership skills to join our Operating Room team at Denver Health. As a Charge Nurse, you will supervise nursing and support staff in providing exceptional care to patients in a high-acuity environment, including various surgical specialties. Your role will involve overseeing operations, patient assessment, treatment, and evaluation, while adhering to professional nursing standards and promoting excellence in patient safety and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage department/unit operations for assigned shifts.
• Assess patient needs and provide health education and aftercare.
• Coordinate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care.
• Administer medications, monitor patients' conditions, and report changes.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Nursing.
• 1-3 years of nursing experience in a patient care setting.
• Active RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Strong clinical and managerial skills.
