Job Description
We are looking to hire a full-time CT Technologist to join Corewell Health team at Wayne Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic CT exams, provide patient care, and ensure the best possible image quality. This position requires adherence to Corewell Health's Patient and Family Centered Care philosophy and commitment to radiation protection principles.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identification and physician orders.
- Prepare patients for exams and provide procedural information.
- Perform CT scans and related procedures.
- Operate CT imaging equipment and ensure quality control.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and support teams.
Qualifications
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by ARRT with additional CT certification within one year of hire.
- BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
