CT Technologist Full Time

Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled CT Technologist to join Corewell Health as a full-time member of our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT exams using state-of-the-art imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images while prioritizing patient care and safety. As a CT Technologist at Corewell Health, you will contribute to our philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care and maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identification and physician orders.
• Educate and prepare patients for procedures.
• Acquire and document patient history accurately.
• Perform CT scans and related procedures, including IV placement.
• Operate CT equipment proficiently and ensure patient safety during scans.
• Ensure timely relay of STAT requests to radiologists.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms.
• Use hospital computer systems effectively for order verification and information sharing.
• Participate in inter-departmental communications and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
• 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Certification by ARRT with additional CT certification required within 1 year of hire.
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers required.
