Job Description

As a Customer Service and Stock Specialist at Aldi, you will play a vital role in ensuring the store is well-organized, stocked, and providing exceptional customer service. You will collaborate with the team, handle customer transactions, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to a positive shopping experience for customers.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate the ALDI M.A.P. (Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills) consistently.
• Process customer purchases, stock shelves neatly, and maintain merchandise displays.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their shopping needs.
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management.
• Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and other store-related issues.
• Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to minimize losses.
• Follow company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
• Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Efficient operation of a cash register and store equipment.
• Capable of general cleaning duties and adherence to company standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multi-task effectively.
• Meet state and local requirements for handling and selling alcoholic beverages.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail work experience is advantageous.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.
