Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a vital part of the store, you will be responsible for merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and ensuring the store is well-maintained. Your role will involve collaborating with the Aldi team to provide exceptional customer service and enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Position Details
- Position Type: Full-Time
- Average Hours: 32-40 hours per week
- Starting Wage: $17.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate the Mindsets, ALDI Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist shoppers
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with management
- Contribute feedback on products, inventory, and other operational aspects
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure accuracy of stock levels
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures
- Follow established company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior retail experience is preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and operate a cash register
- Proficiency in equipment operation and general cleaning tasks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
