Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's overall appearance. Your focus on exceptional customer service and teamwork will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
- Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
- Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store maintenance issues.
- Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
- Follow all company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
- Skilled in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to safely operate equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
- Capable of interpreting and applying company policies effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
- Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales and handling.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior retail work experience is a plus.
- A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
