Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join our team at Aldi. As a Store Associate, you will play a vital role in merchandising, stocking products, cashiering, and maintaining the store's overall appearance. Your focus on exceptional customer service and teamwork will enhance the shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.) consistently.
  • Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and assist customers during their shopping experience.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with store management.
  • Offer feedback on products, inventory, and store maintenance issues.
  • Participate in inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Adhere to cash handling policies and company procedures.
  • Follow all company policies while maintaining document security and confidentiality.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Proficient in providing prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Skilled in operating a cash register accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to safely operate equipment like hand jacks and floor scrubbers.
  • Capable of interpreting and applying company policies effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask.
  • Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol sales and handling.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior retail work experience is a plus.
  • A combination of education and experience is acceptable.
