Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service and Stock Specialist to join Aldi, a leading company committed to providing exceptional service and quality products to customers. As a crucial member of the team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the store by handling merchandising, cashiering, and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate ALDI's Mindsets, Acts Competencies, and Professional Skills (M.A.P.)
- Process customer purchases, stock shelves, and maintain merchandise displays
- Provide outstanding customer service and support a positive shopping experience
- Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate with store management
- Conduct store inventory counts and monitor inventory accuracy
- Follow cash policies and procedures to ensure minimal losses
- Adhere to company policies while upholding security and confidentiality standards
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service
- Proficient in operating a cash register and store equipment
- Capable of interpreting and applying company policies
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask efficiently
- Meet all state and local requirements for alcohol handling and sales
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Prior retail experience (preferred)
- Combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge
