Diesel Mechanic/Technician C

Job Description

As a Diesel Mechanic/Technician C at Southeastern Freight Lines, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining our transport and freight equipment. This includes working on a variety of diesel vehicles and industrial forklifts to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair diesel over-the-road tractors, city tractors, straight trucks, and industrial forklifts.
• Track and manage work orders to ensure timely completion and meet service schedules.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and conduct system repairs or rebuilds as necessary.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues for effective problem resolution.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience and/or training.
• Ability to pass background check, alcohol, and drug tests.
• Preferably ASE Certification or Diesel Engine Certification.

Pay

$28.80-$35.80 per hour.
