Direct Support Professional - Full-time

Job Description

We are hiring full-time Direct Support Professionals to join our team at Region V Services. As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide training and support to individuals with disabilities in their homes and community locations. This role involves assisting individuals in achieving their goals, fostering community relationships, and ensuring quality services.

Responsibilities

• Provide systematic training and customized supports based on individual needs.
• Participate in team meetings to develop appropriate training and support plans.
• Collaborate with individuals, families, and team members to identify desired outcomes.
• Develop training programs, maintain accurate records, and monitor progress.
• Act as a positive role model for individuals in enhancing behavior and personal skills.
• Follow safety regulations and maintain flexible schedules based on individual needs.
• Assist with personal care, medication administration, community access, and social role enhancement.
• Attend training sessions to improve job performance and meet regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Prefer one year of experience in human services.
• Valid driver's license, reliable means of communication, and clear background checks.

Compensation

$15.15 - $16.24 per hour
